Eurocom have been providing criminal record checks, now known as DBS checks, to employers since 2006 and confidently offer employers one of the fastest and simplest criminal records checking services available. Our e-Bulk service allows employers to take control of the entire process. Clients are provided with their own secure control panel from where they can add new candidates, monitor the progress of their applications and more importantly see the results as they come in. Standard Disclosures are normally completed within 48 hours and most enhanced DBS checks range from 2 to 5 working days.
The entire process is undertaken online simplifying the submission process and providing timely results via email.
When applying for checks, you can enter the basic details of the applicants to the system and this will notify them, by emai, to login and complete their application forms. The system sends them repeated reminders until the form is completed. When you submit an online application form, it goes directly to the DBS. Our e-Bulk system also allows you to monitor the progress of each ongoing Enhanced and Standard check by clicking on the ‘Latest status’. Unlike other e-Bulk providers, there are no maximum or minimum number of checks required and no registration fees. We will provide you with our welcome pack which contains all the information you’ll need to start processing your applications. If you would like to know more about this service, feel free to contact us and one of our team members will happily advise you.
Our e-Bulk DBS service offers the following disclosures:
Available through the Disclosure and Barring Service but covering England and Wales, it allows employers to confirm if a prospective employee has any current convictions. Basic Disclosures contain details of unspent convictions according to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 which are held on central police records or will state if there are no such convictions.
Our fastest turnaround is available on these checks via the e-bulk service, with direct submission to the Disclosure and Barring Service, where we normally have results within 48 hours. However, Standard Disclosures are only available for certain occupations and for entry into professions as specified in the Exceptions Order to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. Standard Disclosures show current and spent convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings held on the Police National Computer.
This is the highest level of check only apply to professionals with positions that involve contact with vulnerable groups, including children (e.g. caring for, supervising, training or being in sole charge of children or vulnerable adults). Enhanced Disclosures contain the same information as the Standard Disclosure but with the addition of any relevant and proportionate information held by the local police forces.
