According to Cifas survey, 32% of all internal frauds recorded in 2015 were related to dishonest actions such as cash theft, facilitating fraudulent transactions and manipulating accounts. This survey also shows that fraudulent account withdrawals by dishonest employees doubled in 2015 compared with 2014.

Confirmation of ID
This confirms that the candidate is a real person and their ID is validated by a third party system.
Fraudulent Passport Verification
This ensures that the passport provided is a valid, non-fraudulent document.
This discovers whether the candidate is or has been registered to the Electoral Roll in the UK.
Right to Work
This background check verifies if the candidate has proof that they have a right to work in the UK.
This is a UK Driving License check, looking at a candidate’s driving record and discovering any penalty points and any disqualifications.
This verifies property ownership via the Land Registry.
Searches for politically exposed persons: “natural persons who are or have been entrusted with prominent public functions and whose substantial or complex financial or business transactions may represent an enhanced money-laundering risk and close family members or close associates of such persons.”.
We don’t want you to waste time hiring people who do not fit into your company or match your values. We seek character references from two references or one reference - no close relatives or previous employers who have already provided employment references are accepted. Any referee must have known the candidate for at least a year, and we can check as many candidates as you require.
Using a combination of electoral roll, candidate-supplied documents and other tools, we can quickly confirm the address history of your candidate to help verify their identity.
Confirmation of ONE residential address:
Checks whether the candidate lives at the current address provided.
Confirmation of TWO residential address:
Checks whether the candidate lives/lived at the current address and previous address provided.
