Conducting background checks represents a good practice that can help assess and mitigate risk when recruiting people, from entry-level to senior positions. Unfortunately, our experience would tell us that CVs cannot always be an accurate representation of a candidate’s experience.
So we do the hard work for you. We chase references: both automatically via our system, and by phone via our team. If we don’t get a response, we contact the candidate for an alternative contact, or to speak with the referee. Our system is designed to tell us if an email has been non-deliverable, so we can keep on top of the process and not waste time. We also have a list of contacts who we know can provide references for the bigger companies, allowing us to save you time and effort.
We offer the following checks:
Employment History Verification
Confirms the start and end date of an employment and position held at a company. We also ask for further information pertaining to the employability of the candidate. Confirmation of employment comes from trusted, verified referees and HR officials.
We check: Most Recent Employment, 10 Years, 2 Years, 3 Years, 5 Years and 7 Years.
Investigates any gaps between employment which is pre-defined when discussing screening requirements. We check gaps of (more than): 28 Days, 31 Days, 60 Days and 90 Days. Our method for checking gaps has been approved by the Home Office
